PROPHESIES! PROPHESIES!! PROPHESIES!!!

One of the most important sessions of the year is Christmas season which marks the birth of the Lord Jesus.  It is a time celebrated by not just those who profess Christ but Pagans, traditionalists and Moslem's alike. The streets wear a different look, gifts are exchanged and hearts are broken as well. People go frenzy the whole year just preparing for the great 25th of December presumed to be the birth day of the saviour of the world JESUS CHRIST. 

A week after 25th December is January 1st which is also an important day because it a new dawn, a new page, a time to leave all behind and move forward. A time to drop old friends and pick new ones. A time for new year Resolutions...ahhhhhh that is the most important part of the celebrations, where we change from 5 girlfriends to 2, 10 bottles of beer a day to 15, etc. 

Pastors alike organize great church programs and give prophesies for the year. some negative and some positive. While everyone wants to enjoy the prophesies of I see marriages, I see new cars, I see fat accounts, etc, some prophesies also spill negativity like; I see deaths, I see road and air accidents, famine, etc. Either  you believe it or not, this things will come to pass. The only thing you need to do is to pray not to be a victim. 

My soul goes to a wonderful and prolific actor MUNA who bowed to death on Sunday. we need to be more prayerful and ask God to avert some of the catastrophic prophesy that have gone out...

The Prayer is EVERY NEGATIVE PROPHESY THAT HAS GONE OUT CAN NOT BE FOR ME OR MY FRIEND, OR ANY OF MY RELATIVE. If you have said this prayer with your heart, God will protect you through out this period.

UNLEASH YOUR CREATIVITY REALITY SHOW KICKS OFF

Are you a rising actor, actress, scriptwriter, cameraman, songwriter, singer, editor, makeup artiste or costumier? Or you have ever wished to be in front of or behind the camera? If so, then this gift is for you.  2ET MEDIA NETWORK LIMITED, a film production company, has created this platform to put rising artistes in the mainstream of filmmaking. Over the years, reality shows have filled the airwaves in Africa and Nigeria. They have become a major source of content provision for our TV stations and have also helped to change the economic status of many people.

The need to create a platform where many people will be empowered through the movies has given rise to UNLEASH UR CREATIVITY.

CONCEPT NOTE

Two groups of 25 artistes will be selected and camped for one month during which they will learn the rudiments of filmmaking and then shoot a short film. They will be required to conceptualize a story, produce and premiere it within the period. The movie will be premiered to an audience on live TV and the winning group will receive N10,000,000 (ten million naira) to produce a feature film.

This programme is geared towards empowering rising actors who have never had the opportunity of playing in the big league. The artistes selected will comprise storytellers, actors, cameramen, editors, musicians and songwriters. While they are working, the audience will watch their efforts and get to know how things are done behind the camera from the scripting stage, casting, down to choosing of locations, rehearsals, principal photography, and editing of the movie.

Five locations are being considered for the camping. They include Obudu Ranch Resort in Cross River State, Federal Capital Territory, Akwa Ibom, Edo, Bayelsa, Kogi and Lagos States.

Seasoned filmmakers will visit the artistes from time to time to give them practical tips on the art and science of filmmaking.

Unleash your Creativity is different from other reality shows because it is concerned with transforming the total movie industry and not just picking an individual and rewarding him for eating, sleeping and abusing people. Unleash your Creativity rewards hard work, creativity and team work. An individual is not given the price money but the money will be invested in a movie project by the winning team which will at the end make all the participants famous. 

Desmond Eliot, a seasoned Nigerian actor and filmmaker, will be anchoring the first season of the show which will be aired on AIT and other Satellite TV stations.

The event is endorsed and supported by Diamond Bank, Directors Guild of Nigeria, Royal Paradise Limited, Foboche International Limited, TGM Media, Signature magazine, Nigerian Film Corporation, etc. Other organizations are being considered.

The event is put together by Eyaba Emmanuel Tagbo, a registered member of the Directors Guild of Nigeria. He studied Theatre and Media Arts at the University of Calabar and has worked with both Hollywood and Nollywood Directors. He was one of the beneficiaries of the capacity-building project of the Federal Government of Nigeria on a training programme to Colorado Film School, United States of America. He has been involved in several projects on TV, Film, events, stage, etc.

He produced and directed for the Nigeria Customs Service the first action series in Nigeria titled “THE FRONTIERS. He was the Project Director of Face of Peace Africa Pageant and the COO of Blumoon Imaginationz before setting up 2ET Media Network Limited.

He runs a youth outreach programme in Abuja known as RAW IMPACT which is aimed at empowering the African youth through knowledge. He is also the founder of The Playhouse, a platform for rising and aspiring actors to empower themselves through movies.

The audition for the show is scheduled to come up in Calabar, Abuja and Lagos.
